For me, it was super challenging. It took years, and many detours. I wanted to get to the root causes of my severe addiction to sugar, and I had to find a way to come into balance.

There was a lot of experimenting and education, and it eventually led me to the gut microbiome, the place in our body that is absolutely central to the health of the rest of our being.

I developed simple practices that created amazing results in my overall health. I am now guiding people who have the desire to improve their health, life and wellbeing, helping them conquer food cravings, addictions, excessive stress and gut challenges.

The best part of this journey? You don’t have to stop eating the foods you love! (caveat here: processed foods do not apply nor do visits to fast-food restaurants!)

An Afternoon in Sugar Hell

I once had a catering business serving corporate aviation. The workload varied from day to day, which made the busy days quite stressful. One particularly challenging afternoon was so busy that I hadn’t found the time to eat (very ironic for a chef working in a kitchen!). I was hungry and running out of steam, so I started “fueling up” with sweet foods. Within a span of four hours, I wolfed down six chocolate mousses, 4 portions of rice pudding, and an entire linzer torte large enough to feed 8 people!!

Needless to say that the whole “fueling up” strategy failed miserably when I felt so sick later in the day that I had to lie down with the most massive headache I had ever experienced!

It took me decades to unravel (still am to this day) my complicated relationship with sugar, eating, and numbing myself. It wasn’t really until in my early fifties when I started to feel the effects of my addiction on my body that I truly started to look deeper at the root causes.

Can I edit the files ?

Is it Layered ?

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text.

How can I edit the masks ?

All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.

Kitchen Review

A winemaker once told me: “It’s impossible to end up with a good wine if you start with shitty grapes!” Same goes with food. When cooking, more than half the job is done when you start with good quality ingredients.

So, in this session, we look at the food products in your refrigerator, freezer and pantry and sort out the ones that will be the base for great dishes supportive of great health and the ones that won’t.

There is a huge difference taste-wise and nutrition-wise between food products bought at your average supermarket and the ones sourced at your local farmer’s market or in stores featuring local ingredients!

I’ll show you where to find the best stuff and how to shop for the truly healthy brands when we go to your local Farmer’s market and health-oriented grocery store (like Erewhon, Santa Monica Coop in LA; Whole Foods or equivalent elsewhere).
